Giải thích chi tiết một số câu điển hình:
- Câu 3: Câu trực tiếp ở thì hiện tại tiếp diễn (“Where are you studying?”) được chuyển sang thì quá khứ tiếp diễn (“where I studied”) trong câu gián tiếp.
- Câu 5: Trạng từ “ago” (trước đây) trong câu trực tiếp được đổi thành “before” (trước đó) trong câu gián tiếp.
- Câu 12: Thứ tự từ trong câu hỏi gián tiếp phải tuân theo cấu trúc của một câu trần thuật (S + V + O), do đó đáp án đúng là “I had gone”.
